Madeira Terrace is a Victorian cast-iron structure stretching along Brighton’s iconic seafront. Far from its former glory as an impressive promenade, it now sits in decay and disrepair. Once a place of community and leisure, it feels lonely, abandoned, threatening. The people of Brighton have set up a civic crowdfunding campaign – will it be enough to save a vital piece of Brighton’s history and identity?
